Top Crypto up Nearly $30K Now Since July 1 Low
On June 30, 2026, Bitcoin was trading at around $59,514, less than a year after reaching its all-time high of $126,198 in October 2025. After years of steady, slow growth and a HODL dream mentality that the invisible money would reach $1,000,000, that dream died in 2025.
The cryptocurrency now sits in a weird spot, down around $60,000 from its all-time high, yet up around $30,000 since its June 30 pothole. Bitcoin was trading at $84,762,50 on Saturday, October 3, after falling below the $80,000 level on September 19.
Kyle Rodda, a senior financial market analyst at Capital.com, attributed the quick pullback to several factors, including rising oil prices, which affect almost everything globally.

“The rise in crude prices is capping non-yielding assets, so Bitcoin’s rally has taken a bit of a pause. As long as that upside risk to energy persists, Bitcoin is likely to struggle to recapture upside momentum,” Rodda told Bitcoin.com News, adding “... (it's) technicals look quite constructive.”
The big questions now are: will this second-half-of-2026 Bitcoin bull run continue, will the bears return like last Fall, or will we see a stagnation/boring flotation like a monster garbage pile in the oceans? No matter what, Digital Age bees can trade in BTC’s direction every 5 minutes with perps. (This market is overkill.)
As Bitcoin goes, so goes Ethereum (ETH) and the other major cryptos, so be wise with any approach to buying this crypto, trading in its direction in PMs, or in the perps. This is an election year; we created a dumb war, and we’re still ruled by The Orange Emperor’s New Clothes, Bubba.

How High Will Crypto King Bitcoin Get in 2026?
At Robinhood Predictions, you can trade on whether or not this bullish Bitcoin run will continue, with eight levels of trading where you can buy ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ contracts, depending on what lofty levels you think the world’s largest cryptocurrency will rise to in this calendar year.
Right now (October 3, 2026), BTC is trading at $84,762.50, so the ‘No’ would be the resolution(s) in all seven of these markets in the How High Will Bitcoin Get in 2026? exchange.

The level getting the most love in this Crypto-Bitcoin market where more than one strike can cash in was Above $100,000 (37¢), followed by Above $110,000 (13¢), Above $120,000 (9¢), Above $130,000 (7¢), Above $200,000 (7¢), Above $150,000 (3¢), and Above $140,000 (2¢).
Bitcoin peaked at a record $126,2769.63 on October 6, 2025, and fell to as low as $57,737.35 on July 1, 2026, before this latest rebound of almost $30,000 from July to October. In the year, Bitcoin was down 26.85% but went up 38.47% in three months, showing its constant volatility.
The US Supreme Court Reconvenes Today
The first term each year of the US Supreme Court starts on the first Monday in October, and that is today, and although there has been much talk in the prediction market landscape about Supreme Court Intervention, the nine Justices may not have the time and space to get to the massive issue.
This October Term 2026 already has some big cases on the Merits Docket, including ones dealing with constitutional rights (Viramontes v. Cook County), environmental liability (Suncor Energy v. Boulder County), and parental rights (International Partners For Ethical Care v. Ferguson).
The eight Associate Justices and Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. will also address prescient issues in Washington, D.C., including voter list purges (RNC v. Mi Familia Vota), Immigration and Deportations, and pending cases like Missouri Redistricting.
The first day for oral arguments is today (October 5) at 9:30 a.m. EDT. Why is all of this important? Because if and when the High Court hears any cases or disputes involving prediction markets, the Supreme Court Calendar will determine whether the justices have time to take up the matter now.

With conflicting rulings coming this year from the 3rd, 6th, and 9th Circuits, the Supreme Court is reportedly reviewing petitions like the state of New Jersey’s first-ever petition to the Supreme Court against prediction markets, and we will see if the Justices add it to the docket this term.
The Supreme Court will announce later this year if it is taking up the prediction market case. If and when it does, expect no quick or easy resolutions, much like many of the more controversial markets. This court will take a 4-day pause after the first 3 days of oral arguments (October 5-7).
“Some big cases may be added to the US Supreme Court’s docket for the new term that starts next week, including ones involving the regulation of prediction markets,” Reuters reported last week, so we may see some initial movement in a hot new space many are involved and concerned with.
2026 Los Angeles Mayor Winner Race Tight
The whole Los Angeles Mayor Winner? race couldn’t help but devolve into a circus at some point, as MTV alum Spencer Pratt proved with his egomaniacal and baby Trump-like run for office in our nation’s second-largest city earlier this freaky-as-expected 2026 calendar year.
For a while, it seemed this Republican Reality TV star from The Hills might actually have a shot at getting the keys to the mansion, despite knowing nothing about politics or how to run and fix the City of Angels. His ‘Yes’ contracts, like all but two others, have been resolved as ‘No’ in this market.

Now it’s a two-woman race between Democrat Nithya Raman (44%)—a councilmember since 2020 in the city’s 4th district—and Democrat and current LA mayor Karen Bass (56%). The last Republican who was mayor of LA was Richard Riordan, whose term ended on July 1, 2001.
Bass is the 43rd mayor of Los Angeles and will look to retain that title in the 2026 Midterm Elections, set to take place on Election Day in less than a month on Tuesday, November 3, 2026.
2026-27 UEFA Nations League Winner
The 2026-27 UEFA Nations League tournament is underway and will run from September to November, with 54 teams competing, and living legend Cristiano Ronaldo and Portugal are the defending champions. The current international break ends Friday (October 6).
In the UEFA Nations League 2026-27 Winner offering at Polymarket, teen sensation Lamine Yamal and defending 2026 FIFA World Cup champions Spain (34%) are the top choice, followed by France (22%), England (18%), Portugal (12%), Netherlands (8%), and Germany (7%).
Next up are Erling Haaland and Norway (5%), Italy (2%), Belgium (2%), Greece (1%), and Croatia (1%). CR7 is now 41, and after mulling over his retirement from international soccer, he returned to Seleção das Quinas under new coach Jorge Jesus. When Jesus comes, you have to go?

📊Trading Thoughts: The handicap here is logical and emotional and quickly sides with the favorites, who have a young and loaded roster and the defending World and Europeans champions. Nothing big. This team is also loaded with Goalkeepers (GK), so good luck to all.
Spain also will have some revenge in mind in snatching the trophy back from Iberian peninsula rivals Portugal, and this nation also has the best Women’s team, so why not prove the point, once again, who plays the best soccer on Mother Earth. Words are nice, but numbers carry truths.
In 2025, captain Rodri and the Spanish national team went unbeaten 3-1-0 (12 GF-2 GA) while warming up for the World Cup they won, then went 10-3-0 (GF-4 GA) into their FA Nations League match vs Croatia on September 29. In the World Cup, Spain allowed 2 goals.
⚽2026-27 UEFA Nations League Winner Picks: Spain, Yes 35¢, England, No 84¢

Bucs, Cowboys Open Up NFL Week 5 on Thursday
NFL Week 5 gets underway with the struggling Tampa Bay Buccaneers (0-3, 0-1 on the road) heading to AT&T Stadium (Hellas Matrix Turf with Helix Soft Top Artificial Turf) in Arlington, Texas, to play Dallas (1-2,1-0 at Home) on Thursday night (Prime Video, 8:15 EDT/7:15 CDT/5:15 PDT)
The Buccaneers saw starting QB Baker Mayfield (Dislocated Thumb) get injured, and he was set to sit 3 weeks starting in Week 4, with Kansas rookie Jalon Daniels set to fill in. In a conference (NFC) with the Panthers, Cardinals, and Falcons, the Buccaneers were the last winless team.
In the Tampa Bay Buccaneers-Dallas Cowboys prediction market on Polymarket, traders overwhelmingly favor the Cowboys (82%) over the Buccaneers (20%). The point spread at the Palace in Dallas has QB Dak Prescott and Dallas as 9.5 favorites, up after the Mayfield injury news.

📊Trading Thoughts: The Buccaneers set a modern-day NFL record in Week 3, when they lost their 12th straight game Against The Spread (ATS), and with no Mayfield and team heartbeat Mike Evans (SF) gone, it could be a long year for TB, whose last win was about 100 years ago.
Head-to-head in the last 10 meetings, the Cowboys are 7-3-0 SU (5-5-0 ATS), winning the last 2 meetings (2023, 2024), the former in the Wild Card Round in the 2022023 NFL Playoffs. The Under has been profitable (7-3-0), with the Under 4-0-0 in the last 4 played at Jerryworld.
TB had beaten 2 teams (CAR, AZ) in its last 12 games heading into Week 4 (GB). Dallas has the same problem it has had in recent seasons—stopping the opponent from scoring (27.3 PPG, #25) —and until Jerry Jones and management tackle it, the Cowboys aren’t winning anything.
🏈NFL Week 5 Thursday Night Side Pick: None
NCAAF: #14 Iowa at Washington on Friday Night
On Friday night, QB Hank Brown and #14 Iowa (4-0, 1-0 Big Ten) head west to face QB Demond Williams Jr. and Washington (3-1, 0-1 Big Ten) at Husky Stadium (AstroTurf) in beautiful Seattle, Washington, in a Big Ten Conference tilt important to both teams (CBS, 9 EDT/8 CDT/6 PDT).
The Huskies' lone loss came to Minnesota at home at The Greatest Setting in College Football. The Hawkeyes' only setback came in Week against Ohio State at home in Iowa City. In the Iowa vs. Washington trade and Kalshi, Washington (50%) and Iowa (50%) were dead even before Week 5.
📊Trading Thoughts: These two don’t have a rich history, with Washington joining the Big Ten recently, and the Hawkeyes winning their only meeting at home (40-16) almost exactly two years ago on October 10, 2024. Washington had more Total Yards (393-328). Iowa had way more points.

Both have been winning games lately, with Iowa 8-2 SU in its last 10 and Washington 7-3. Against The Spread (ATS), the Hawkeyes have been the team to back (8-2-0 ATS), winning 5 of the last 6 against the betting number. The Huskies have played 6 of their last 7 games at Husky Stadium.
The Hawkeyes have proven they can win on the road, winning against Michigan at The Big House on a last-second TD, but this will be two Time Zones (CDT to PDT) and 1,877 miles away and in a spot where the hosts need the win just as much to keep any dreams of a DI national title alive.
Washington will rely on the arms and legs of Williams Jr. while Iowa will look to LB Cam Buffington (38 tackles) and its staunch defense (8.0 PPG, #1) to rule the night in the Emerald City. Defense wins in the end, and if the Hawkeyes can frustrate Williams Jr., they will head home happy.
🏈NCAAF Week 6 Friday Night Side Pick: Iowa, Yes 52¢
