OSU Looks for Revenge vs. Indiana on Saturday
One of the most anticipated games of the NCAAF season comes when #5 Ohio State (5-1, 3-0 in Big Ten) collides with defending national champions and #7 Indiana (6-0, 3-0 in Big Ten) from Memorial Stadium (Hellas Matrix Helix) in Bloomington, IN on Saturday (FOX, 12 ET/11 CT/9 PT).
The game is FOX’s Big Noon Saturday, and it truly deserves the hype. Leading Heisman Trophy candidate Jeremiah Smith faces Josh Hoover and the Hoosiers, who haven’t lost since Joe Biden was president and have gone a record-tying 22 straight allowing opponents 24 points or less.
It also has conference and CFP implications (and no one would be surprised to see both OSU and Indiana back in the final 12 again this season). Last year, 2025 Heisman winner Fernando Mendoza and IU beat the Buckeyes in the Big Ten Championship Game in Naptown, 13-10).

At Novig, traders are giving Ohio State a 19% chance (Yes, No 84%) to win the national title, while WRs Nick Marsh and Charlie Becker and Indiana (Yes 11%, No 97%) aren't given much of a chance to repeat. In the Ohio State vs. Indiana game at Kalshi, they liked OSU 58%-41%.
🏟️Trading Thoughts: This will be the 100th meeting between Big Ten OGs Indiana and Ohio State, with the Buckeyes going 80-13-5 and winning 30 straight between 1991 and 2024, and every meeting between the two since I moved to Las Vegas until Indiana’s win last season.
Looking at the last 10 series meetings, we see Ohio State is 9-1-0 (5-5-0 ATS) and 4-0-0 SU and 3-1-0 at Indiana, B.C.C. (Before Curt Gignetti). QB Julian Sayin, RB Bo Jackson, and the Buckeyes were a profitable 7-3-0 ATS in their last 10 after beating Iowa in Week 5 (31-14, OSU -14.5).

This is a game Indiana can afford to lose more than the visitors, but with General Cignetti and a 22-game winning streak and the game at The Rock, there will be blood, bruises, and drama. This is the can’t-miss Regular Season game of the season, and both teams do everything extremely well.
Could this be a Big Ten and/or CFP National Championship preview? Yes and yes, but probably not the latter. Stopping Smith has been impossible this season, and with revenge, the Heisman favorite on the biggest stage, you can see why OSU (D: 13.2 PPG T-#8) is favored here in the Hoosier State.

What Will the Diesel Price Be on Election Day?
In the Economics menu on Polymarket, you can trade on the Diesel Price on Election Day coming up on Tuesday, November 3, and most of the contracts bought are hinting at a price definitely above $5.00 (a gallon), and more likely above the scary (and now current average) $6.00 mark.
Above $4.40 (98%)
Above $4.60 (98%)
Above $4.80 (99%)
Above $5.00 (95%)
Above $5.20 (93%)
Above $5.40 (92%)
Above $5.60 (84%)
Above $5.80 (78%)
Above $6.00 (68%)
Above $6.20 (59%) all seemed like foregone trading conclusions.
But at the highest Above $6.40 (22%) and Above $6.60 (25%) levels, the sentiment was not so strong, with Above $6.80 (7%), Above $7.00 (3%), and Above $7.20 (5%) getting even less love.

Goldman Sachs has predicted diesel prices will likely remain high this year because of factors like refinery capacity, and experts are said to be pessimistic that the additional supply the Group of Seven nations discussed at its last meeting will have little effect.
That means prices will likely remain high this year. Right now, on Tuesday, October 7, the average price of a gallon of diesel fuel in the US was $6.199, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) weekly update.
Diesel prices are regional and highest in California, the West, the Rocky Mountains, and the Midwest, and average or below average in the East and Gulf Coast, where many refineries are located. This market is judged by the American Automobile Association’s (AAA) National Average Gas Prices.

Baby Bolsonaro Likely the Next Brazil President?
The first round of voting on October 4, 2026, in the 2026 General Election in South America’s largest nation, Brazil, ended with right-wing candidate Flávio Bolsonaro leading the 2026 presidential election with 47% of the vote over incumbent president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (45%).
The two will now face each other in a runoff election in two weeks, on October 25. At Kalshi in the Brazil Presidential Election Winner? trade, Liberal Party candidate Flávio Bolsonaro (84%) was the clear choice over Workers’ Party candidate and incumbent Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (16%).
Eighty-year-old Lula, as he is affectionately known in Brazil, served as president from 2003 to 2011 before running again, winning, and serving again starting in 2023. During that current second term, the January 8 attacks showed that imitation is the sincerest form of stupidity.

Lula also made three unsuccessful runs for Brazilian president (1989, 1994, 1998) and, at 80 years old, seems too old? Wait, DJT just turned 80, and 80 is the new 18 (or 180?) with these drugs. Bolsonaro is much younger (45) and the eldest son of former president Jair Messias Bolsonaro.
As you can see in the above graph, the leader switched quickly and has changed three times, with Baby Bolsonaro looking like the new Brazilian president after this coming round on Sunday, October 25. The character of most world leaders these days is absolutely terrifying.
The Top 5 Most Searched People on Google in 2026
Showing the morbidity of our Digital Age culture, the top searched person on Google this year may be someone involved in something not seen much in mainstream news, but a big story in the criminal world, like we saw last year with this market.
David Anthony Burke (d4vd) was the #1 searched person in 2025, followed by rapper Kendrick Lamar, TV funnyman Jimmy Kimmel, Tyler Robinson, and Pope Leo XIV, the lovable American pope from the hamlet of Chicago who loves the White Sox, losers in the ALDS vs. the Guardians.
Burke (d4vd) was involved in a criminal investigation, and we can see why this was Googled so much last year as well as avoided so much in the media. In Top 5 Most Searched People on Google This Year, the #1 searched name is Lindsay Clancy. Who is Lindsay Clancy?

She is a woman who suffered from postpartum depression and strangled her three children in January of 2023 in Duxbury, Massachusetts, then tried to commit suicide, and is now on trial. Her status hearing concluded on September 29, and the next hearing is scheduled for November 2.
Clancy (76%) looks to be in the top 5 searched names on Google on October 12, followed by Norway soccer god Erling Haaland (54%), NBC’s Savannah Guthrie (46%)—also involved in a tragedy with the loss of mother Nancy—and rapper and Super Bowl performer Bad Bunny (36%).
Next were former Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro (27%), 24-year-old right-wing YouTube influencer Nick Shirley (13%), and US President Donald Trump (11%). I Googled my own name from January to July until I realized I was spelling my name wrong and immediately stopped.

NCAAF Week 7: #6 Alabama at # 14 Tennessee
Another of the more important NCAAF College Football games on the Week 7 schedule sees #6 Alabama (5-1, 3-1 in SEC) playing #14 Tennessee (5-1, 2-1 in SEC) at Neyland Stadium (Grass) in an SEC battle in Knoxville, Tennessee on Saturday afternoon (ABC, 3:30 EDT/2:30 CDT/12:30 PDT).
Heisman Trophy candidate and Alabama QB Keelon Russell and the Crimson Tide have had a great start this season, beating Kentucky, FSU, South Carolina, and Mississippi State—scoring at least 45 points in all 5 games—before losing to #3 Georgia in Week 6 in a nail-biter.
RB Desean Bishop and Tennessee lost vs. #1 Texas at home in Rocky Top. After rebounding with wins over Auburn and Arkansas, the Volunteers now need to avoid a second loss with tough SEC games against Kentucky (11/7), Texas A&M (11/14), and #10 LSU (11/21) on the horizon.

📟Trading Thoughts: In the Alabama vs. Tennessee Winner at Polymarket US, traders backed visitors Alabama (75%) over Tennessee (26%) despite the game being in the Volunteer State. The Totals market may be the best bet here, with both prolific on offense (ALA 49.6, #2, TEN 36.8).
In the last 10 series meetings, Alabama is an impressive 8-2 SU and 7-3-0 ATS—the Crimson Tide were also 7-3-0 ATS in their last 10 overall into Week 6—but Tennessee has won and covered ATS the last two at Neyland (TENN 24-17 in 2024, TENN 52-40 in 2022). The Over is 6-4-0 in those 10.
The losses that Tennessee (Texas) and Bama (Georgia) have won’t hurt in the CFP scheme yet, but whoever loses here will be under serious pressure. Alabama is clicking and scoring as it did in the good ole days, and the Crimson Tide (19-7 L26 vs TENN) should score 40 in this classic SEC clash.

NCAAF: #2 Notre Dame at #8 BYU on Saturday
Last season, Notre Dame and Touchdown Jesus failed to make the 12-team CFP cut, and all hell broke loose, if hell is allowed to break loose on a Catholic campus. The Fighting Irish deserved a berth, but the system allowed two Group of Five schools in: Tulane and James Madison.
Many predict #2 ND (6-0) to go unbeaten this NCAAF Regular Season (49%, Kalshi), and others think the independents can win the 2026 CFP (12%, Kalshi). The game at #8 BYU LaVell Edwards Stadium (Grass) in Provo, Utah, on Saturday will be a big test (ABC, 7:30 EDT/6:30 CDT/4:30 PDT).
At Kalshi, visiting Notre Dame (76%) is the traders' overwhelming pick over BYU (24%) in Notre Dame vs. BYU, as the Mormons welcome the Catholics to the temple of football in the Wasatch Range in the Beehive State in a game with real CFP implications for both schools.

📟Trading Thoughts: BYU (34.6 PPG, T-#37) and QB Bear Bachmeier will host the Fighting Irish in the biggest home game for the Cougars since Miami paid a visit on September 8, 1990, when the stadium was still Cougar Stadium, and BYU played in the Western Athletic Conference (WAC).
Notre Dame is 3-0-0 vs BYU and 2-1-0 ATS (2012-2022), but all three meetings were in front of Touchdown Jesus in South Bend, so nothing else matters. The Under went 3-0-0 in the three meetings (48, 36, 31 points), and BYU was held under 243 total yards in two of those games.
Here, BYU (13.4 PPG, #12 on D) has a problem at the RB position with Jovesa Domuni, Sione Moa, and now LJ Martin (Lower Body) all out injured, meaning Bachmaier might have to book it against the savage Fighting Irish D (11.8 PPG, #7). BYU is a perfect 5-0-0 ATS heading into this big game,

NFL Champion Seahawks at Broncos on TNF
NFL Week 6 kicks off on Thursday night with the NFL champion Seahawks (3-2, 1-1 on the road) in the Rocky Mountains to face the Broncos (3-2, 2-0 at Home) from Empower Field at Mile High Stadium (Grass) in Denver, Colorado on Thursday (PRIME VIDEO, 8:15 EDT/7:15 CDT/5:15 PDT).
Bo Nix and Denver have been good at home, average on the road. At the same time, WR Jaxon Smith-Njigba and Seattle were upset by the beat-up Commanders in DC, proving the NFL is still unpredictable, a dilemma for those dabbling in prediction markets. We guess, therefore we are?
At Kalshi in the Seahawks vs. Broncos trade, the visiting Seahawks (56%) are the choice over the Broncos (46%) in a game between two teams who used to both play in the AFC West before Seattle decided to jump over to the NFC with Starbucks, bagels and cream cheese, and chinstraps.

📟Trading Thoughts: Seattle is 5-2-0 in the last 7 series meetings, winning 3 of the 4 meetings in the Mile High City and going 4-2-1 ATS. The Over is 5-2-0, cashing in all 4 meetings in Denver (51, 51, 45, 43). Denver was 5-2-0 ATS in its L7, the Seahawks were 7-3-0 ATS in their L10 into Week 5.
This one will be like a chess match, with two game-managing QBs in the Broncos' still-young Nix and the Seahawks' Sam Darnold, back after suffering an injury scare in the opener. The Seattle defense (21.0 PPG, #9) has been better than Denver’s (22.2 PPG, #14), and that’s the difference.
